Dr. Deborah Boland is a certified professional by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. With a deep commitment to patient care, she focuses on fostering long-lasting relationships with her patients and guiding them towards a better quality of life.
Dr. Boland began her journey in healthcare as a Physical Therapist, earning her Master’s from Andrews University in 1993. Ten years into her PT career, inspired by her work with neurological patients, she transitioned to medical school. Choosing Des Moines University for its rich osteopathic heritage, she resonated with osteopathic practices due to her Physical Therapy background.
After completing her education, she underwent internship and residency in Peoria, Illinois, and further specialized in Movement Disorders at Duke University.
With three decades of experience, Dr. Boland stands out as a rare fellowship-trained movement disorder specialist in Florida’s panhandle.
Abigail Bako manages the operations, and marketing for Elite Neuro Training.
She brings a background in psychology, years of management experience, and a strong foundation from her work at Boland Neurology.
